Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) inspires and empowers students to meet high academic standards, lead healthy, ethical lives, and be responsible and innovative global citizens.

FCPS is the ninth largest school division in the U.S. with 200 schools and centers. We serve a diverse population of more than 177,000 pre-kindergarten through grade 12 students, speaking 194 languages. Over 35% of our total student population is economically disadvantaged (eligible for free or reduced-price meals), 17% receive special education services, 20% are multilingual learners, and more than 7% are military-connected.
