Michael has spent over 30 years in the construction industry and currently serves as Co-President of C.J. Coakley Co., Inc., a family-owned drywall subcontracting firm founded in 1962. Beginning his full-time career with the company in 1992 after earlier part-time work, Michael progressed from project manager to executive leadership, helping guide the company to consistent annual revenues of $50–60 million.

A dedicated industry contributor, Michael has held numerous leadership roles, including serving as President of the Ceilings and Interior Construction Association (CISCA). An interesting distinction is that he received the prestigious De Gelleke Award, the organization’s highest honor, recognizing his exceptional service and commitment to advancing the industry.
