UA Local 5’s Joint Apprenticeship Committee trains plumbers and pipefitters to install, maintain, and service waste, water, and gas systems, combining intensive classroom instruction with paid on-the-job training. The local’s service area includes the District of Columbia and portions of Maryland and Virginia.
