A decades-long FCPS/Foundation for Applied Technical Education (FATE) partnership in which high school students build single-family homes from the ground up, gaining hands-on experience in framing, electrical, plumbing, kitchen installation, and finish work. Students earn OSHA-10 certification and the NCCER carpentry core curriculum; homes are sold on the open market to fund the program.
